Back from PARADISE!

JR, I and Chase went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a week. We stayed at the RIU Palace in Cabo. It was breath taking. It was an all inclusive resort. Kind of reminded me of a cruise. The best part about it not being a cruise was, we did not have to get off the boat or leave our island. We got to relax on the beach or by the pool of our choice. There was a party pool and quiet pool. Plenty of fun beach activities. Even had a Costco near by that was really fun to visit! It was almost as if we were in the US, except the packaging was all in Spanish.
There was 2 main eating places that were buffet style. At night there was a few different choices. There was a Mexican, steakhouse, Japanese and french restaurant's to eat at. We enjoyed eating with the entire Peterson gang. JR's parents treated us all to this fabulous vacation. Chase was graciously allowed to come with all the adults(12 + baby) After dinner there was nightly entertainment. We enjoyed playing games with JR's siblings and parents.
I think I was born to live on the beach. Something about the smell in the air and all its beauty makes me the happiest person in the world. JR and I needed this, we left all but Chase in Utah. It was a chore to arrange their schedules, get them all packed and saying our final good- byes was hard but to arrive to this was...JUST PERFECT!

This was our view from the balcony. We walked into our room and I instantly knew I was in Paradise!

This Elephant was on our bed. Chase loved it! The maid also made a heart wreath, with flower petals. The days to come we were always in awe of the fun things he would make for us with towels.
We took a boat taxi over to, Lovers Beach, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific. It was a sight to see us all try and get on the boat as the tide would push the boat in. JR, me and Chase were the last to get on, so we had a lot of helpers. Chase just went along with this adventure. The water would splash his cute cheeks and he would smile!
This is called, Lovers Beach! On the other side of this beach is the Pacific ocean. We saw sea lions and lots of fat fish. We played in the surf...I was even wiped out by my father in-law. I am sure we have footage of this somewhere but its most likely not G rated for my blog. It was a fun beach day with all the Peterson's. The ones that did not get in the water were entertained by the ones that did :)
Chase was congested most of our trip. I am sure it had something to do with him teething. He still was a breeze...such a good little boy! Grandpa took him into the pool for his first time. He was not sure...not like his, HOT showers, his daddy gives him.

A sunset ride on the beach. JR and Kevin

Cabo Baby!

Looking over at the pool..

Our view at sunrise....I could wake up to this every morning. Listening to the waves crashing against the shore was heaven!
Me and my honey :)

Grandma and Chase in our usual hang-out.

I have no idea where my parents are taking me! Chasers 1st plane ride. Did not even make a peep!

I got a little adventurous and went para sailing. It was not too bad...I would not say I was at total ease but it was a fun experience.(i will add some pictures later) And... so we had to leave Paradise! What a fun VACATION this was! It was so relaxing....just what we both needed.
Thanks mom and dad for taking us to Cabo. You do so much for us and we love you so much! It was so nice for all of us to be together and to share memories that will last a life time. Also, to be the only tan ones in Utah in March!

Hooray...Rice Cereal!

Chase pretty much demanded we start feeding him baby food. He was in Cabo with us for a week. Anyone who had food in their hand, Chase was attacking! He grabbed a chip from grandpa and knew exactly what to do with it. He is 6 months old today so I thought I would share some 1st attempts at rice cereal with you.

YUM-O

oh, and by the way...Chase LOVED it!
