OUCH!

Yesterday, I was getting Ashlee out of the car. It is a pretty tight fit anyway but now with my growing belly it has been a little tighter. As I shut the door with Ashlee in my arms, I noticed her big toe was in the door. I felt so bad to see her cry because of something I had done. Her toe nail was black and blue in minutes. Ashlee was so brave and tough. Within 20 minutes she was jumping on my bed like a little monkey, that she is! Later on that day, I put her to bed for the night. Not too long after, she was crying really hard. Not a usual occurrence. I knew she was so tired and glad to be in her bed, something had to be wrong. I went in to check on her and she had managed to get her foot caught in one of the bars. Poor little girl! I gave her lots of loves and put her back to sleep.

This one is for you DADDY! Mommy said you wanted to see my cute face! I just finished breakfast and now I am going to go make a mess! First, I will go to Savannah's room, then Carson's room and I will make my final disaster in Mommy's BATHROOM:) I love that place, there are all kinds of baskets of things I can dump out. Sometimes I like to pick it up but I am too busy today, I will let mommy do that! Call me later :) Love you!

First day of school! We arrive at Oak Hollow....

Mommy, Carson and Ashlee walked Savannah and her friend Riley to where her class was going to line up. It was so fun to see all the friends Savannah already knew. Some kids were in her class last year and some from church. Her good friend Jaden is not on B track but is on A track, but they found each other pretty fast. I am sure she will be seeing her on the play ground and in the lunch room.

Savannah and Riley will be in the same class, she just lives a few house's down from us.

Savannah with her new teacher, Mrs. Brunner (she also lives on our street)

Savannah waving good-bye to her tearful mom and brother Carson. Carson said he did not want Savannah to go to first grade. He is really going to miss her! Carson will now have Ashlee to tease. It already begun as soon as we got home. Ashlee is tough and she can sure carry her own. Carson might want to stay clear......

Savannah's first day of 1st Grade!

Before I drove her to school

Savannah was thrilled to have her new High School Musical bag. She also insisted on wearing her Hannah Montana shoes! She definitely knows what she likes! I did not even have to pick out her clothes for today, she had already decided!

Savannah is not my baby anymore.....

Savannah starts 1st grade tomorrow! I am feeling a little sad:( Not a shocker to all that knows me! I was looking back at photos of my cute Savannah, today. This first shot of her was taken when she was only 9 days old. She was so alert and strong. Savannah is still the same today, I will not have to worry about her. I feel so lucky to be her mom!
JR has been gone, as most of you know. Savannah has been so much help to me and her brother and sister. I love spending time with her at night when the younger ones are asleep. She loves playing games and she loves to beat her mom. I am really going to miss having her around. All day seems too long for her to be gone. She is thrilled to start first grade. All the perks that go with it, riding the bus to and from school, eating in the cafeteria, and having two recesses!!!

I did What?

Note to self and anyone else that has lost their mind: Do not leave a gallon of milk in a very HOT car for 3 or 4 days!
As I loaded my kids in my car this morning, I was utterly disgusted with this horrible smell. I quickly remembered that I had left a gallon of milk in the car. Oh, yes! I went to the back to discover the milk had exploded ALL OVER! As much as I have tried all day to get rid of the smell, it is still there! I was told that there are only a few smells you can not get out of a car....1, being smoke and 2, milk. That's just great!
Tomorrow's to do list: TRADE IN CAR!

Deep Sea Fishing

JR, Matt and the boys went Deep sea fishing off of Newport, CA the other night. They were fishing until midnight. The crew all together caught over 255 sea bass. WOW!
Carson was very concerned about what his daddy was going to do with the fish. When I told Carson that daddy was going to eat them he was very concerned. All he could tell me with tears running down his face was, "I don't want daddy to eat those fish....please tell daddy not to eat them!!" What a sweet little boy we have!!!
Update: Carson told daddy tonight that he wanted him to put the fish back in the water!

Angel Moroni

The Draper temple is coming along. Today, Moroni was put up on the temple at 12 noon. Before noon the kids got a chance to see him on the ground. It was pretty neat.

Savannah Graduates from Kindergarten

Kindergarten graduation was a tearful day. What a fun year it has been. Savannah loved going to school. Especially, riding the bus to school. She got a reward for turning in EVERY homework assignment. Savannah will miss her teacher, Mrs. Bell! Not a fan of the year round school but Savannah seems to enjoy having breaks. She starts 1st grade July 28th :)
