4 months old...Already???

Our little guy, Chase is already 4 months old! He weighed in at 16 pounds 10 ounces and was 26 inches long. He was in the 90% for both weight and height :) Chase is so happy and is the sweetest little boy!

Another year older

What better way to celebrate a birthday then to go snowmobiling!! I was glad to find out I still had a little of my adventurous side in me. Don't get me wrong...I was a little scared! I guess after becoming a mom I have mellowed out a ton. JR was reminding me on the way up the canyon that I use to go off jumps and was wild! (I seem to have forgotten that) When JR and I were first married, one of our first big purchase was a snowmobile. JR has had a love for this sport since he was a child.
As I was riding up and around the trail I had a lot of time to think. I was thinking back on all the crazy things I had done. What shocked me the most was that I lived through all of them. Reflecting on the New Year I decided I was going to be more adventurous this year as a new years resolution. I was having a great time!! When I got to the top of the mountain I was in awe of the view. In the distance I watched JR trying some tricks. I was just going to follow his friend...thinking surely he would show me the safe way down! He forgot to mention the big, long, steep hill with deep fresh powder I was about to ride down with Savannah as my passenger. Let's just say...it was either me and Savannah or the sled. I jumped off, pulling Savannah with me. Luckily, we made it without injury and the sled did too. So that brings me back to my new years resolution....being more adventurous! Maybe not so much....

Kids all geared up to go!

All ready to go.........

The Christmas letter that was never sent....

Life has been pretty busy around the Peterson home! Trying to manage 4 kids and all their activities, tantrums, sibling rivalry, round the clock feedings and so on....has taken its toll on me. I like to beat myself up about all the things that have gone undone and not finished(Christmas card) but I have decided that we are all healthy and happy and that's what makes it all worth it! My once spotless house has seen its worse days in the past few months but once again....I can not even list all the great times I have had with my kids. The lazy days we have spent doing crafts and staying in our PJ's are the memories I would like the kids to have.
Savannah, now 7 is really enjoying school-she is a A+ student just like her dad! We have enjoyed watching her talents blossom. It's been a thrill to watch her in gymnastics. She got her front walk over and that was a, "big deal." Now she is working on her back handsprings! She continues to play soccer and is a natural! Oh, and she got her ears pierced!!!!
Carson, now 4 is all boy! He is happy with any dart gun, action figure costume and making his own weapons. He has learned so much this past year. He always has a question to ask and always wants to know how things work and such. I can always count on him to brighten up my day with his tender heart!
Ashlee, now 20 months...need I say more??? She is into anything and everything. I sometimes think she is running the house. My once very quiet little Ash is now making her voice known. I find myself laughing at this little girl. She loves to make messes. She has to be doing what her older brother and sister are doing. She just decided one night that she would not sit in her highchair anymore. It was fun to see the grin on her face as she sat at the table with us.
Chase, 4 months is rolling over, is most happy sitting up, wants to see whats going on. He has learned to just go along with Ashlee taking out his Binky and putting it back in...he is pretty mellow and is really sweet!
We enjoyed all the Christmas cards this year from our friends and family. It is always a fun time of year catching up on all the ones we love. We hope this year brings much joy to you all!
