HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Ashlee turned 2 today! We had a fun family day...JR started the morning off with chocolate chip pancakes. I then took Ashlee over to cookie cutters to get her First haircut. She sat so still and had a very serious look on her face. I tried so hard to get her to smile but she was onto me!

This was all for a sucker! What is a 2 year old without a tantrum?

We then went to Chuck E Cheese. Ashlee was pretty terrified of Chuck E and the rides were kind of scary for her. Her favorite game was Ski ball. She was throwing the balls everywhere but straight.

After all the fun we took the kids to eat at chick-filet for lunch. We then went home so the birthday girls could take a nap. I then got busy and made Ashlee was butterfly cake. I thought i would be a little creative and see if I could even pull it off. My backup was Harmon's bakery if it didn't turn out. As you can see it did....HOORAY!!!!

Ashlee got a new baby doll and a crib to put her baby in. Ashlee is a good little mommy to her babies.

Ashlee with her new bike!

(if you look closely you will see her own sense of style too)

Savannah being silly with Ashlee! I love watching my girls play together.. Savannah is such a great sister. I can tell Ashlee already looks up to her. Savannah's room is Ashlee's favorite place to play in the house. She can spend hours in there by herself. She will even get Savannah's clothes and put them on over hers.

What a great day this was. I can not believe my little girl is 2! When I look at Ashlee I see a lot of Savannah in her. I love little Ashlee's spunk...she is so full of life. In the morning when Carson and Savannah have gone to school and Chase is down for a nap, we get to hang out. She always wants to be by my side. She is so eager to help me out around the house. Some of her favorite chores are...dusting, putting clothes in the laundry room and putting away clean clothes(they don't always end up in the right room-drawer) but she feels so important. I love watching her trying to do her best. Ashlee has a really sweet spirit. She does not say a lot but she is always singing. She always wants to be doing what Savannah and Carson are doing. We love her and are so glad she is apart of our family. Time goes by so fast..I really do wish I had a pause button.
